From the counter

Written up on the little chalkboards.

The food is homemade and there’s a daily special, so the best menu is the one on the counter. A few things that have been up on the boards:

  • Bacon Roll$8

with HP or tomato sauce, add a fried egg $2

  • Lemon Crumble Muffins$6

    from under the glass dome

  • GF Chocolate Brownie$6

    gluten free

  • Apple, Cinnamon + Almond

    on the pastry board

One regular swears by the goat cheese and caramelised onion tart. Ask what’s on today.

At the table

Coffee, sandwiches and pastries. The simple stuff, done properly.

Fresh, homemade and independent, the way the café describes itself. Here’s what customers have been photographing.

The room

“A quaint little tea room,” as one guest put it.

Coral walls, mint chairs, white tables and flowers in a little glass bottle. Customers keep using the same words for it: cosy, comfortable, relaxing. Somewhere to sit down properly with a pot of tea, not just grab a coffee on the way to the shops.

Along one wall, white shelves hold a small gift display of cards, candles and homewares, so a coffee catch-up can double as a present run.

Framed artwork above the cup station, with pink and white cups ready to go

Art on the walls, cups ready at the station.

“both of us got tea and it was presented beautifully in a cute little pink teapot.”

The little things

Why people come back.

Coffee in pink mugs

Coffee with latte art, iced coffee in a jar, and tea served in a little pink teapot.

Lemon zest, done fresh

Time it right and you can watch the lemon muffins getting their fresh zest on top, right at the counter.

Dogs say hello

There’s a water bowl by the front door, and one customer’s dogs were even handed a treat.

A shelf of little gifts

Cards, candles and homewares line the white shelves inside, so you can pick up a present with your coffee.

This cafe is a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in we felt like we had gone on holidays and were about to dine in a quaint little tea room. The decor colours are relaxing, the furnishings are comfortable and the owners tunes are nice to listen to. We ordered the full breakfast and were surprised to have a hot drink included (limited time offer?) - both of us got tea and it was presented beautifully in a cute little pink teapot. The food was delicious and felt like it was homemade (perfect portion of food but a very small plate to eat off though). We even tried their brownies which were yummy and bought a few gifts from their cool display. We didn't know that this place existed and if we had done we would have come sooner. We will definitely be back again and will bring more people. Don't hesitate to try this cafe. You won't be disappointed :)

I love Brunch and Beyond. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My dogs even got a treat today. I've never had a better flat white, and they even made me a special sandwich. Thank you – you're brilliant, and I'm looking forward to my next visit! Steffie with Pinky and Frieda

This little gem is tucked away seperate from the busy shopping centre. The food is all home made and the pastries amazing. I usually have the goat cheese and caramelised onion tart. Sweets wise the lemon muffins/cupcakes are the best and if you go at the right time you can watch them adding the fresh lemon zest. I've been four times recently and will revisit and add another review.

Could not fault this gorgeous little cafe. We had a beautiful high tea for an early mother's day celebration, the food was so good and the staff were so lovely and friendly! Thank you!
